Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how UUIDly ("we", "us", "the site") handles information when you visit. We have built this site with privacy as a first principle: the core feature — generating UUIDs — happens entirely in your browser and never touches our servers.
1. Information we do NOT collect
- The UUIDs you generate. They are produced and stored only in your browser. We never see them.
- Personal information such as your name, email, or address — unless you voluntarily send it via email.
- Account data — there are no user accounts on this site.
2. Information that may be collected automatically
When you visit any website, certain technical data is exchanged with the server hosting it. Our hosting provider may log:
- IP address (often anonymized or truncated)
- Browser type and version
- Referring page
- Date and time of access
This information is used solely for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not linked to your identity.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use a small amount of localStorage in your browser to remember whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. This data is stored only on your device.
If you accept cookies and we have enabled analytics or advertising (see below), additional cookies may be set by those services.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense or other third-party ad networks. When ads are displayed:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You may also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
Third-party ad servers and ad networks have their own privacy policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or activities of these third-party sites or services.
5. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools (such as Plausible, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or Google Analytics in cookieless mode) to understand aggregate traffic. No personally identifiable information is collected through these tools.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or California, you have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, these rights are largely moot — but you can always email us at binaygupta730@gmail.com with any concerns.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Contact
For questions about this policy, email binaygupta730@gmail.com. The site is operated by Binay Kumar Gupta.
